I haven't heard much about cocaethylene in the news, I hear a lot about cocaine, but not the dangers of mixing it. I wonder if it's taken seriously enough.

I found a little mention on the BBC news site, but it's still focused around cocaine habits;

The documentary on BBC3 "How drugs work" mentioned coca-ethylene in the episode about cocaine. Worth keeping an eye on i-player if anyones interested in watching it. CGI effects on what cocaine does to the body.
